Carlo Ancelotti angered by Napoli changing rooms ahead of Liverpool Champions League game

Napoli director Carlo Ancelotti has struck out at the condition of their rooms prior to the Champions League Group E opener from Liverpool, five days after a summer of renovation work in the San Paolo Stadium.
The Serie A club, who recently finished runners-up supporting Juventus last year, played with their first two league games of the campaign against Fiorentina and Juve while work on the stadium was ongoing.
Napoli host Sampdoria on Saturday, while Champions League holders Liverpool traveling to Naples on September 17.
“I’ve seen the state of the dressing rooms at the San Paolo. There are not any words,” Ancelotti said in an declaration.
“I accepted the club’s request to perform the first two games away from house to allow the work to be finished, as was promised.
“You can build a house in two months, however they were not capable of renovating the dressing rooms! Exactly where are we now supposed to get changed for the matches against Sampdoria and Liverpool?
“I am shocked at the incompetence of the people in charge of the job.
“How could the Region, Municipality and Commissioners fail to honor the commitments which were made? It smacks of also a scarcity of a bond with the team of the city and discount. I am dismayed.”
Footage released on the Twitter accounts of Napoli shows there’s extensive construction work to be finished within the dressing rooms, with their clash with Liverpool five days off.
The works, namely changing room improvements and video surveillance at the San Paolo, were supposed to be completed by the middle of September.
Liverpool will start the defence of the sixth title after their win against Tottenham at Madrid when they travel to Italy.
