Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku suffered a broken wrist against the New York Jets in Monday night’s game, according to numerous media reports.
However, he is currently seeking further medical advice, he is expected to be out for at least a month.
Njoku was hurt from the first quarter of the Browns’ 23-3 victory.
On precisely the play, he suffered a concussion as he appeared to land after being upended by Jets cornerback Nate Hairston on an attempted move from quarterback Baker Mayfield.
After being escorted by coaches to the locker room, he was ruled out of further actions.
Njoku failed to make a grab in the game after distributing in four receptions for 37 yards and a touchdown in the reduction to the Tennessee Titans.
In his third NFL season, all with the Browns, the 23-year-old from Jersey City, N.J., has career totals of 92 receptions for 1,062 yards and 2 touchdowns.
