With two eliminations from the way, Tinashe is the betting favorite to win Season 27 of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars with odds of +350. Tinashe (complete name Tinashe Jorgensen Kacheingwe) is a 25-year-old native of Kentucky who’s famous for her singing functions with The Stunners and as a solo act.
She has collaborated with artists such as Calvin Harris and Travis Scott and is paired with Brandon Armstrong on the series. She may have a leg up on the competition — Tinashe began training as a dancer at age four and the couple has the greatest average score during two weeks.
Di Pace & Manheim really are a Close Second
Juan Pablo Di Pace (Fuller House, Mamma Mia) and 17-year-old Milo Manheim, from the Disney Channel original film”Zombies,” both have +375 odds to win the 27th season of the wildly popular dancing series.
Tinashe, Di Pace and Manheim all received scores of 26 on both numbers in Week two of the series, setting up a pivotal Week 3 (October 8) to determine if any of those pairs can separate themselves from the contest. It is expected that Tinashe and Brandon will dance the Rumba, Juan Pablo and Cheryl Burke will dance the Samba, and Milo and Witney Carson will dance the Jive.
Usually Reliable Athletes Are In The Middle of the Pack
While athletes have traditionally had success on the show, former NFL linebacker DeMarcus Ware and Olympian Mary Lou Retton are still sitting +800 and +1100 respectively to be crowned champion.
Ware retired from the NFL after 12 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos at the end of this 2016 season. Retton is best known for her five medals at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, including all round gold, at the gymnastics competition.
Who is in Trouble?
John Schneider, of Dukes of Hazzard fame, along with his spouse Emma Slater were the last to be called safe in Week two and they’ve odds of +1500 are the winners in the conclusion of the show. So it doesn’t seem like the wise money is on Bo Duke this year, despite his magnificent hair.
The maximum chances after Week 2 belong to Joe Amabile and final season’s winning skilled dancer, Jenna Johnson (+4000). In reality, there has only been one professional to acquire in consecutive seasons: Derek Hough in Season 10 and 11.
