Serena Williams breezes into US Open semi-finals

Serena Williams dropped only 1 game as she blew away China’s Wang Qiang 6-1 6-0 at the US Open quarter-finals.
This was Williams’ victory in the US Open, also at 45 minutes that the fastest at this season’s tournament.
Williams was not bothered by the ankle as she powered past Qiang to go nearer to some Grand Slam singles trophy that is 24th she rolled in her previous game.
Williams won the first five games in approximately 15 minutes. After falling one match, the 37-year-old gathered the following 11 points in every remaining game and a row.
Williams will face Number 5 seed Elina Svitolina for a berth in the last, also finished with 25 champions to zero to get Wang, who played her first major quarter-final.
“From when I first started here… I never thought I would get to 100,” Williams said of her success landmark.
“Didn’t even cross my mind I would still be outside here. But I love everything I do.”
The American explained the ankle she rolled during her fourth-round game wasn’t a problem:”Physically, I am feeling great, and more than anything else I’m having fun every time that I come out .”
