Ronnie O’Sullivan begins Shanghai Masters with dominating performance

Ronnie O’Sullivan began the defence of his Shanghai Masters title with a comprehensive victory against card Zhang Yi.
In his first competitive game since the World Championships in Sheffield, O’Sullivan looked sharp as he caught in the campaign with a dominant display under way.
Zhang surprised many by beating Ali Carter from the round, however a duplicate wasn’t on the cards from O’Sullivan.
The 43-year-old, trying to triumph for its third year in a row, wrapped up the win with centuries.
He is joined in the quarter-finals from Shaun Murphy and Jack Lisowski, that obtained at the Regal International East Asia Hotel.
Lisowski knocked to conquer world number one Mark Selby 6-3, also he’ll confront fellow Englishman Murphy in the next round following the’Magician’ defeated Mark Williams 6-5.
O’Sullivan will play with the winner of the match between Kyren Wilson and Xiao Guodong.
