France vs Albania: Anthem mix-up in Paris at European Qualifier

For Albania, the national anthem has been performed in a until they confronted France in a Euro 2020 Qualifier.
Players looked bemused as they realised it was the anthem – the anthem, based on UEFA’s official website of Andorra – with camera pictures showing angry fans making offensive expressions in demonstration.
France coach Didier Deschamps talked with Albania coach Edoardo Reja as referee Jess Gil Manzano waited a few minutes for the anthem to be played at the Stade de France.
Afterward, once the proper anthem was about to be performed there was another awkward episode as the stadium announcer apologised to”Armenia’s lovers” and called on fans to respect the”Armenia national anthem” before realising his glaring mistake and stating Albania.
France competition is Andorra live on Sky Sports.
Deschamps provided a public apology within the anthem mix-up which led to a delay because the match would not be started by Albania without the error being rectified.
“I apologised to the seat along with the trainer,” Deschamps informed a press conference.
“It’s something which shouldn’t happen, but it happened. I know the job of the Albanians also it is plausible that people waited before the Albanians could have their anthem earlier that game.”
France eased, once the Euro 2020 Qualifier started.
