Arsene Wenger has composed off the Premier League title opportunities of Manchester United this season, and it has cast doubt on whether the club greatness can be restored by their crop.
After four matches of this new campaign, where United have won once, lost and attracted former Arsenal boss Wenger sees potential in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, however, insists that they aren’t prepared for the very best.
“When you see Man Utd, they are among those cases where there is a potential there,’ he advised beIN Sports. “However they have not found a collective manner.
“Perhaps those players are not mature enough to carry the team play of a group like Man United, completely. That is the question mark.
“You feel there is something coming out but it’s not prepared. When you see them perform, they are not a candidate.
‘Will they emulate exactly what (Ryan) Giggs, (Paul) Scholes, (David) Beckham did over a number of decades? Personally, I’m not convinced”
United continue their time at home to Leicester City on Saturday.
