Neither the FA nor Aston Villa will Require any further Actions against Anwar El Ghazi and Tyrone Mings over their clash at Villa Park.
Villa manager Dean Smith is pleased that the matter was addressed by the team in the dressing area at half-time, after the two team-mates came together through the 0-0 draw with West Hamas well as the matter is currently closed.
And as the episode reviewed in Stockley Park at the nighttime and was seen by the on-field official Mike Dean time, the FA is unable to take any retrospective activity either.
FA rules state that a participant can be sent off for violent behavior if that is directed at someone aside from a rival.
There was contact when El Ghazi pushed his mind however, Dean did not feel it had been sufficiently aggressive to justify a red card.
The referee paused the game to allow VAR time to reassess his decision, along with the review concurred with his interpretation.
The FA also has looked at if Arthur Masuaku made any breach on the rules by taking as long as 35 seconds to leave the field after he had been shipped off for a second bookable offence – and decided not to take additional action.
Dean’s game report contained a reference while appealing to the Warriors together with his own team-mates, to Masuaku refusing to leave the field promptly.
