Paul Scholes doesn’t believe Manchester United can compete for the Premier League title in the following two years.
Even the England along with ex-United midfielder believes the results this year reveal they stay in the Premier League behind last year’s top four of the side.
United, who drew last weekend, have only one victory from their four matches, having additionally attracted with sailors and lost at home to Crystal Palace after thrashing Chelsea on the opening day.
Scholes said:”I think you almost have to compose United off to the following two years – that team – till Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has cleared everything he wants out; has five or four move windows.
“United will be behind Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham.
“I think that this is United in the minute; you have to be patient with the young players but the professional players need to measure up.
“We’ve observed over and over how many errors experienced players are creating. It’s hard for young players to come into a team such as this.”
Scholes implied that Solskjaer made the wrong choice to draw Juan Mata after Jannick Vestergaard cancelled out Dan James’ opener at the 1-1 draw.
“I am disappointed. It seemed like from when the moment Juan Mata went , really. I was amazed because I thought if anybody will create something it is Juan Mata,” Scholes said.
“However, it wasn’t the young players that I was disappointed with, it had been the knowledgeable players. When Matic came on he constantly gave the ball away, Ashley Young gave the ball away.
“These are those that young gamers are looking around, the examples you’re taking a look at.”
