Northern Ireland release Shayne Lavery and Ciaron Brown from senior squad

Michael ONeill has released Shayne Lavery and Ciaron Brown to allow the Set to Play with to the U21s at Romania.

Linfield striker Lavery and Cardiff shield Brown were at the senior team that went to Prague on Saturday before their friendly against the Czech Republic on Monday night.
However they have now flown to Romania to join up with Ian Baracloughs squad in Voluntari on Monday night.
Baracloughs side suffered a late defeat on Thursday to Denmark in Aalborg, leaving two points from their opening three games to them after draws with Finland and Malta.
Lavery and Brown both featured in last months friendly against Luxembourg, a match Brown started on his international debut.
Both players were in the framework to feature with ONeill place to provide use lots of fringe players in his squad following Thursdays heartbreaking late defeat to Holland that left hopes of qualifying for Euro 2020 dangling by a thread in Prague.
No replacements will likely be called up departing ONeill with 21 players for Mondays friendly.
