After he was led by his trailblazing amateur career into a England National title tal Singh has vowed to become the first Sikh world champion.
Following a late start in boxing at age 18, Singh exceeded his expectations as he triumphed at English level this past year, an early achievement for a Sikh boxer.
He admits that boxing isnt a favorite game in his community, but hopes his title success will inspire involvement that is widespread.
It is enormous, Singh told Sky Sports. Not just to myself, but to my family, and also to essentially the Sikh community, particularly being the very first Singh ever, with all the long beard and hair, to perform this.

I have the best team , and I feel I certainly will reach it. My entire life revolves around it and this will be a lifetime goal complete.
