Serena Williams breezes into US Open semi-finals

Serena Williams dropped only 1 game as she withdrew China’s Wang Qiang 6-1 6-0 in the US Open quarter-finals.
This was Williams’ victory at the US Open, and that the quickest at the tournament of this year.
Williams wasn’t bothered by the perfect ankle as she pushed past Qiang to go nearer to a Grand Slam singles decoration that is 24th she rolled in her match.
Williams won the first five matches in about 15 minutes. Next, after falling one match, the 37-year-old collected the next 11 points in a row along with every game.
Williams will confront # 5 seed Elina Svitolina to get a berth in the last, also ended with 25 champions to zero to get Wang, who was playing in her first important quarter-final.
“From when I first started here… I never believed that I would get to 100,” Williams said of her success landmark.
“did not even cross my mind I would still be out here. But I love what I do.”
The American explained the ankle she gathered during her fourth-round game wasn’t a problem:”Physically, I am feeling fantastic, and more than anything I am having fun every time that I come out here.”
