Jadon Sancho has teamed up with Nike to help establish a new football pitch in south London in the hope of other people.
Sancho, who increased at Kennington and had been born in Camberwell, played a part in the initiative to help improve local facilities in south east London, with the purpose of giving youngsters a opportunity to shine.
Growing up in Kennington has left me the man that I am today; I spend a great deal to South London for bettering how I perform, Sancho said. I trust the local kids feel empowered to share their stories through football and follow my footsteps – that pitch being just the ignition point
As the house of the Lambeth Tigers, a soccer club for young people aged six to 18, the pitch will provide the regional footballers of all SE11 access to the very best facilities possible.
David Marriott and Jamahl Jarrett both grew up on a nearby property along with the two coaches assisted with the founding of the club and explained the pitch assanctuary for kids.
There is a real demand for safe places for these children to play , said Jarrett. A pitch similar to this is like a sanctuary for kids, inviting them to get into football in a secure atmosphere. The trendy, bright layout is also just like a magnet – it is a place where people will want to get out and play.
The Tigers will utilize the pitch to help empower soccer programming and provide opportunities to over 300 young players in the community through training, workshops and coaching.
