Solheim Cup: Danielle Kang ready for hostile crowd at Team USA

Danielle Kang insists as she tries to help Team USA to Solheim Cup success she’s ready for anything reception she receives from the crowd.
Kang won three of her four games during her budding look from the 2017 contest at Des Moines, where America ran 16.5-11.5 winners, with the American now looking to impress on away soil.
Together with Kang relishing the opportunity to go head to head with Europe and go through the setting that is Scottish team USA arrive at Gleneagles bidding for a third consecutive victory from the biennial contest.
“Since we are in Scotland, I do not understand what I’m likely to listen to,” Kang said. “I hear that I’m going to be booed at a point, so bring it all on.
“I’d rather hear loud booing at there. I’ll still have them feel whoever they would like to cheer for, however so I’m excited, I want to listen to them.
“At the end of the day I don’t actually hear what they say, I simply observe the people and then the sounds. So I’m just excited to hear the sound, whatever that may be.
“I am definitely going to embrace the first tee. I get an opportunity to hit it I’m likely to embrace. I’m going to embrace the lovers available for the whole golf course, whenever I get to play”
Morgan Pressel is the player on the side, having played on three winning Solheim Cup teams throughout her five appearances, with the 31-year-old keen to aid the team’s members.
“Whether you’re a veteran, a rookie or any place in the center, if you walk through this tunnel out on the first tee and hear all of the chanting and the excitement, there’s no experience quite like that,” Pressel said.
“Nerves are going to be there, but you know what to anticipate. You understand how to prepare for it mentally. The concept that we’ve given to the group is embrace it.
“Know that it is coming and have fun with this, since at the end of the day that is an excellent exhibition and a excellent series of golf.”
