Nick Freeman’s second-half penalty rescued a point for Wycombe in their 1-1 draw.
The midfielder smashed home from the spot after a large foot was adjudged by referee Brett Huxtable in the Stanley playground, with 18 minutes levelling up from time.
That maintained their unbeaten record at home this season while Stanley – that had opened the scoring by Dion Charles – were denied a win on the road.
Charles was discovered by midfielder Charles headed beyond Ryan Allsop with five minutes of the first half remaining, profiting from the function.
This was just rewards for a Stanley facet that dominated in patches at Adams Park, Clark pulling on the strings.
Charles put the visitors ahead but Wycombe came out firing after the break, David Wheeler going over the bar.
Freeman appeared on but Wycombe hung Sean McConville’s rasping effort.
